Aisha R. Kent, MSOM, Lic.AC
My love of herbal medicine led me to complete a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine at the Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM in 2008. I studied traditional Chinese herbal medicine, Acupuncture, and Asian bodywork. My clinical externships included women’s health, pediatrics, and Japanese-style clinics. These experiences helped me to develop a gentle, effective acupuncture technique while treating a wide range of health concerns.
As a licensed acupuncturist in Vermont, I use gentle Acupuncture, Asian bodywork, and cupping in my practice, and can integrate other modalities such as Gua Sha, magnet therapy, and Chinese herbal medicine as needed. I specialize in Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation, a natural approach to skincare that combines the use of soothing botanicals and aromatherapy with Traditional Asian Medicine. I hold certifications in the Nefeli and Mei Zen techniques. I use Avene products during the AcuFacial(with fragrance free option for ultra sensitive skin).
I am licensed by the State of Vermont and credentialled with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM)
